Tommy Hilfiger, in collaboration with 10 Corso Como, launches a limited edition collection of penny loafers manufactured by US shoemakers G.H. Bass & Co. The 'Weejun' moccasin - so called as its design was originally inspired by a type of Norwegian shoes - has been a classic since 1936 and has become an iconic 'preppy' item. The term 'penny' loafer comes from the fact that wearers used to carry a small coin for emergency phone calls in the cut-out on the strap.
