It all started with a cotton thread and with the famous petite culotte in white cotton that Pierre Vaton de Troyes invented in 1893. The main aim was to create a line of classics for new born babies and children, developing the idea of an innovative and comfortable clothing. During the years Petit Bateau became a widely recognized brand not only for children: in 2001, Karl Lagerfeld designed a Chanel collection in which models had to wear Petit Bateau shirts. Stripes and the famous motif a la Mariniere have always characterized Petit Bateau style. Petit Bateau and 10 Corso Como launched an exclusive line of t-shirts, bodysuits and pants culotte all printed with 10 Corso Como exclusive illustrations of funny animals, from 0 to 12 months.
